'Fruit-Only' Diet - Interview with Michael Arnstein:

 

In June 2010 Idai Makaya interviewed Michael Arnstein, an elite American distance runner who eats a diet composed entirely of raw fruits (and a few vegetables). This diet represents a concept which many people will probably find difficult to fully buy into; but because of the importance of fruit in all diets Idai has structured the interview specifically to tackle the issues which are of concern - and also to highlight the parts of this alternative dietary philosophy which will actually make healthy eating easier for people who have much more varied diets than Michael Arnstein's.

The Warrior Diet - Interview with Ori Hofmekler:  

 

 In 2009 Idai interviewed Ori Hofmekler - author of The Warrior Diet. The main topic was "Intermittent Fasting for Combat Athletes." Ori's Warrior Diet is an Intermittent Fasting programme designed for athletes - and is still as popular today as it was when the book was first launched way back in 2002.

 

In his discussion with Idai, Ori shares his insights and tells readers more about Intermittent Fasting. He also explains what actually led him to write The Warrior Diet.

Intermittent Fasting - Interview with Brad Pilon:
 
Idai Makaya interviewed Canadian nutritionist Brad Pilon in the December 2009 Edition of MAI Magazine. Brad Pilon is a well known advocate of the practice of Intermittent Fasting. This article will be of great interest to those who want to learn easy and effective methods for controlling their weight - or for getting a leaner body.
 
Brad has an extensive background in nutrition and worked for years within the nutritional supplements industry. It was during his time in the supplements industry that he further developed his knowledge and theories about performance nutrition - but he also realised that there were many falacies being propagated by some in the nutritional supplements industry, solely to promote the sales of their products.
 
This led him to search for a 'greater truth' - which eventually led to his commitment to the practice of Intermittent Fasting
