Sporting Background: International level Rower, Sportive cyclist, Various sporting coaching qualifications.
My Goals in 2017: I would like to succeed in my first Audax ride with the ElliptiGO Ultra Endurance Team in 2017. To compete in the European ElliptiGO Championship and to host the UK ElliptiGO Sportive.
How I train:
Below is a typical week of my training schedule.
Sunday – Cycle Long Ride (50 miles, primarily using Heart Rate Zones 3-4).
Monday – ElliptiGO Outdoor & Indoor fitness classes x 3
Tuesday – ElliptiGO Outdoor & Indoor fitness classes x 2. Wattbike Fitness plan (HIIT)
Wednesday – ElliptiGO Outdoor & Indoor fitness classes x 3. Wattbike Fitness plan (CLIMB)
Thursday – Wattbike 30-45mins or Cycling 1.30hours
Friday – ElliptiGO Outdoor & Indoor fitness classes x 3.
Saturday – ElliptiGO Outdoor & Indoor fitness classes x 2.
Notes on Training:
I stretch 3-4 times a week, to maintain my flexibility and to prevent injuries and maintain a constant supply of protein supplement post training to aid with recovery and muscle growth.
Something most people don’t know about me:
I was National Indoor Rowing Champion from ages 15-19.
