Age: Born in 1960.
Personal Information: Married to Anne, with a daughter and son.
Interests: ElliptiGO riding and challenges, puzzles, politics, travel, family.
Job: Computer science professor.
Sporting Background: Loved basketball and baseball, track (jumping events) in school/college days. Then, ran for many years – 5Ks, marathons, trails, etc.
Hip troubles led to GO, which I absolutely love and would be the first object on my stranded-on-a-desert-island list.
Why I’m doing PBP 2015: Because the enthusiasm of the rest of ElliptiGO Team PBP is infectious!
Something most people don’t know about me: I have a secret goal to ride my GO the full length of Vietnam.
Over the past few years, I’ve made many trips to Vietnam, teaching computer science courses at a university in Hanoi, as well as interviewing students for PhD fellowships to US universities.
The people, food, scenery, are all wonderful. I’ve seen a lot of the country but want to see it from my GO! Other ElliptiGO adventure suggestions welcome 🙂
